Scott earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Virginia with a double major in Foreign Affairs and French Language. His academic foundation reflects his fascination with global systems and intercultural dynamics—an interest that first began at just 10 years old when his family moved to the south of France. That early immersion in a new language and culture left a lasting impression and sparked what would become a lifelong love of international affairs and human connection across borders.
He went on to earn his law degree from the University of Richmond School of Law, where he broadened his legal training through a range of internships and clinics. These included work with the Federal Trade Commission, the Richmond International Business Clinic, and several private litigation firms—experiences that gave him a strong, versatile foundation in both public and private sector law.
Scott began his legal career at a boutique immigration firm in Northern Virginia, where he discovered a deep sense of purpose in helping immigrants navigate complex legal systems. He later returned to Richmond, where he practiced for five years in general law—handling litigation, estate planning, real estate, corporate, and family law. While his legal background is broad, he found his true calling in immigration law, where his skills, values, and empathy align most fully.
Today, Scott focuses on immigration appeals, visa applications, and removal proceedings. What drives his work is more than legal strategy—it’s the opportunity to advocate for individuals and families who are fighting for safety, stability, and opportunity. He understands firsthand the emotional weight that comes with immigration challenges and sees every case as a chance to make a meaningful difference in someone’s life.
